Meghan’s love for photography began in elementary school – think disposable cameras and polaroids. When she’s not taking photos, Meghan spends her time road tripping with her boyfriend and snuggling with her tuxedo-colored cat, Felix. Other hobbies include playing on Pinterest and blogging about cruelty-free beauty products and sustainable living. She’s half girly-girl, half tomboy – yes she loves hair and makeup, shiny things, and cute clothes, but Meghan is not afraid to climb trees or get down in the dirt for a good shot.
Meghan is a true Santa Cruz native, which means she knows all the hip local hideaways that are perfect for portrait sessions. Her calm demeanor is contagious, and guaranteed to put you at ease while she captures your big day. She’s observant – nothing escapes her eagle-eye focus, but we’ve found that Meghan’s dedication to detail lends itself well to wedding photography. She captures the moment in ways that are engaging and original.
Life-changing love is a luxury; people enter and exit our lives all too easily, but Meghan has made it her mission to document every aspect of your wedding day. In 30 years, you’ll be able to look back and remember exactly how it felt to walk down the aisle.

Katie grew up in the middle of nowhere in Northwest Nebraska. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz, where she studied linguistics and politics – in need of a creative outlet, Katie joined the university newspaper as a photographer and photo editor during her last year of school.
When she’s not taking photos, Katie stays busy – maybe too busy. She works in PR and journalism, and spends her spare time learning how to surf and playing bass. Music is easily her favorite subject to write about, but the musicians behind the music are what capture her attention. Picking brains and finding out what makes people tick is her specialty. A knack for storytelling + a background in photojournalism = very useful for wedding photography.
Weddings aren’t just a celebration of love, but of life – of family, friendship, and humanity. So many factors come together to make up your big day; but unlike the flower arrangements, the cake, or the dress, the photos you end up with aren’t something you can smell or touch. They are the memories that stay with you. Katie captures those once-in-a-lifetime moments and the relationships between you and your guests so that you won’t miss a single detail.
